Independent Wine, a Premium Italian wine specialist, announces that twenty wines in its portfolio won Decanter Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals in the latest Decanter Awards ceremony. These wines represent some of Italy’s best examples from highly prized denominations, including Barolo, Amarone, and Chianti Classico.
The winners have been selected by an expert panel from over 16,500 wines from all over the world. The Decanter World Wine Award represents the highest level of quality of wine from a given country. Now, this selection of twenty award-winning wines from some of Italy’s best vineyards is available to over fifty million customers in the UK via the Independent Wine’s e-commerce platform with the next day delivery service.
Elvira Dmitrieva, CEO of Independent Wine, says: “We want to congratulate all our winemakers who have worked so hard to produce those premium quality wines. The Decanter Award ceremony is possibly the most important recognition. We are thrilled that we can deliver those wines to our customers.”
The award-winning wines in the portfolio of Independent Wine include some really excellent wines, such as Francone from Barbaresco DOCG, ForteMasso from Barolo DOCG, Gagliole from Chianti Classico, or Peter Zemmer from Alto Adige. Dmitrieva continues: “Wineries in our portfolio make wines for a wide range of customers tastes and preferences – from oak-aged classics like Barolo or Amarone to refreshing whites of Alto Adige with tropical aromas. The important thing is, they are all excellent wines, which have successfully passed the most rigorous evaluation by Decanter”.
All the wines are available on our website at www.independent.wine.
