A fresh, high-quality white wine with aromas of tropical fruits. Made by an award-winning Swiss-Italian winemaker in the Alpine vineyards of Alto Adige
This Alpine wine has the characteristic freshness and aromas of tropical fruits born in the vineyards of Alto Adige DOC. The region is home to some of Europe’s highest altitude vineyards stretched across the slopes of the Dolimite Alps.
This Weissburgunder (Pinot Bianco) wine is fresh, with pleasant and complex secondary and tertiary aromas. Nine-tenth of it was matured in stainless steel tanks to preserve the delicate perfume of the grape, with the other 10% aged sur lie in oak barrels to add texture and complex flavours. This wine will happily age in bottle for several years, developing aromas of toast, nuts and honey.
Pale lemon colour. Pronounced aromas of guava, lychee, peach, grass, lemon and grapefruit, with hints of bread and honey. On the palate, it is dry, with high acidity, medium alcohol and body. Characteristic flavours of tropical fruits lend a pleasant finish.
