A rich taste from Southern Italy: ripe plums and chocolate. Decanter Bronze
This delicious wine combines the sweet aroma of ripe black plums with a chocolate edge. Its fresh palate is tempered by intensely sweet flavours like wild cherry jam, with a pleasant finish that perfectly balances tannin and acidity. Both grapes, Negroamaro and a little Malvasia Nero, are crushed together to create a fully integrated flavour. It has a deep garnet colour due to a long maceration, which draws out maximum colour and flavour from the skins. The grapes are harvested by hand in the second part of September, and the wine is matured in French oak for six months to develop a complex personality. This wine will continue developing for four to five years – perfect for keeping in the cellar or drinking now.
Awards: Decanter Bronze Medal, 2014 (2012 vintage).

Franber –
This is a vibrant and smooth wine and easy to drink. My wife and I enjoyed a bottle to accompany an Italian meal at home. Has a pleasant cherry aroma, very fruity. Very nice – would definitely order again.

Easy going, smooth, velvety texture! Impossible to only drink one glass. Thankfully we ordered two bottles in this case but not for long!! Don’t take my word though order a bottle or three, you won’t regret it
