Complex oak-aged Chardonnay from the Tyrolean Alps with flavours of pineapple, vanilla and honey

Maturum is the high-end selection of K.Martini & Sohn, a Swiss-Italian winemaking family that has been producing premium wines in South Tirol since 1979. Their Chardonnay is likely to impress you with its intense aromas and complex flavours. This wine has been recognised by independent experts, winning the Decanter Bronze Medal along with numerous other international awards.

This Maturum Chardonnay is produced from grapes grown in Girlan, at the north end of the famous “wine road”, or Weinstraße, near Bolzano, in the centre of Alto Adige. The wine is fermented in French oak barriques to develop complex flavours.

Tasting notes

Pale gold colour. On the nose, this wine has expressive aromas of pineapple, yellow apple, melon and pear, complimented by notes of vanilla, caramel, honey, toast and ginger. In the mouth, Maturum Chardonnay offers fresh acidity, a rich texture and a full body, and a long finish of melon and honey.
