An excellent example of barrel-fermented Vermentino, with notes of tropical fruits and a powerful smoky finish. Decanter Platinum Medal
This wine is made from the best Vermentino grapes, individually selected in the vineyard to ensure their impeccable quality. After hand-harvesting, the grapes are crushed and left to macerate for a few hours at very low temperature to enhance the texture and flavour, and then softly pressed. The wine’s special secret is its fermentation in small French oak barriques. This technique lends complexity, structure, and aromas of vanilla and smoke. It also gives the wine its mesmerising pale gold hue. The wine was matured sur lie to develop even more complex flavours. It showcases the expertise and creativity of the winemakers at Siddùra, and has won a number of awards.
“An enchanting example of Vermentino with delectable stone fruits and opulent tropical notes underpinned by a pure mineral backbone. Robust and intense with an elegant citrus freshness, a charming viscosity and a powerful, smoky finish.” – Decanter World Wine Awards

Dekaboot –
Delicious wine. Interesting provenance. So pleased I bought this. A refreshing change and I’m looking forward to trying it with a grilled white fish. Smooth and best served well chilled.
Cramponpoint –
Absolutely delicious- I’ve loved this grape since tasting it in Australia two years ago. Very smooth and light and has a great aftertaste. Drinkable on it’s own or with light meals.
